Iron Manual 01 (1993)

This special one-shot issue was published as part of the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Invincible Iron Man. Script and art by Eliot R. Brown. Cover by Bill Sienkiewicz. This tech manual illustrates and describes (in detail) Iron Man’s different suits of armor through the years. It also serves as an operations handbook for various armor components. The inside front cover lists the credits for the story and dedicates this issue to the STS-51-L Challenger crew. The inside back cover includes a short essay from Stan Lee. The back cover features six sketches of Shell-Head’s helmet. (Notes: The Iron Manual (1993) #1 was reprinted in 2008 in the trade paperback: Iron Man Iron Manual.
